Coming to Bagdad? Already here? Read on!

Dear Bagdad Resident,

Thank you for taking time to read this letter representing First Baptist Church.  I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to come and visit with us when you can.  I realize that with the long hours and shift work it is hard to juggle your schedule in order to do all that you need to do.

First Baptist Church understands all too well the mechanics of working in the mine.  I worked both in the old mill and helped start up the new concentrator and have extensive knowledge of moly production as well the pit operation.  There must be a time to work and earn a living, but the other important parts of life must also be factored in, our families suffer if we do not take time to consider the spiritual part of life.

We try hard here at First Baptist Church to provide services and activities that will nurture your spiritual needs.  Everyone is welcome, and we attempt to meet every person wherever they are in their life.  The church should be a place where people come for help and encouragement, not a place to be criticized or judged.

I hope you, or you and your family will join us in a service in the near future.  You may learn more about us here on our website.  We would like you to come and join in with us as we worship the LORD.

 Sincerely,

                               Rev. Douglas A. Culver, pastor
