Tim Urling - Juarez, Mexico

Urlings.jpg

Tim and Kelly Urling and their children; Amanda (22 - Married to Phillip Drumheller and mother of their 2 grandchildren), Zachary (20 - A specialist in the US Army serving in Iraq), and Leah (11) have been serving the Lord in Mexico since 1998.

The photo of the Urling's has Ciudad Juarez in the background.  This city of close to 3 million people is where the Urlings have ministered for the last several years.  They have helped start 3 churches in Juarez with combined average attendences of over 300.  They have seen special days with over 900 teens and adults in attendance!  Brother Urling has also taught in the Bible Institute in Juarez that currently has 5 graduates serving in Mexico as pastors

At this time we are privileged to join with Tim and Kelly Urling and their family was well as all those involved in ministering to the dear Mexican people of Juarez and surrounding areas. The Urlings have been in Mexico since the early 1990s and were joined by the Dycks family to assist in the ministry. I would humbly ask that you would take the time to read the information about Brother Tim’s work and commit yourself to pray for them all as they labor to win souls in Juarez, the world’s most violent city.

Prayer Requests

}  That more churches may be started and pastored by national pastors

}  That leading members of the government and drug cartels will be saved

}  That the Mexican people can stop living in fear and be able to go out in peace again

}  For the safety of all Christian workers

}  That Christians will be protected from the attacks of Satan

}  That the drug cartels will not threaten or try to extort money from churches

}  That the Lord will send more workers into the harvest

}  That we, who are safe in our homes here in the states, would be thankful to God for all that we have.

}  We will think daily of those who must live in fear and oppression

}  That we will be able to see the Mexican people of Juarez with the same eyes Jesus sees them with.

}  That we won’t have to be ashamed before the Lord someday because we didn’t pray for these dear people.

}  That the Lord will put off coming back until we have done all we can do to obey the Great Commission

}  That God will put a hedge of protection around Ciudad Juarez and that Satan will have to leave

}  Pray also for Lt. Co. Julian Leyzaola Perez, newly named Commander of the Police Force in Juarez, appointed only a few weeks ago on March 17th.  He has already had death threats, and one of his top staff members was gunned down in front of his home last week.
