We are privileged to support our missionaries. Their work is difficult and for the most part unheard of. They face adversities that most of us cannot comprehend. From remote areas of service, to financial hardship, to foreign government opposition, to health problems, they labor in the conditions that are, to say the least, unsuitable, and sometimes unbearable. Yet they work tirelessly for souls. They and their families have chosen to obey the call of God on their lives to serve Him where most would not go. They are, in my opinion, the "Cream of the Crop" in God's service. As we here at First Baptist Church work hand in hand in financial and prayer support with our missionaries, we are partakers of their fruit. Fruit that will remain. The church that has God's blessing, I believe, is a church that has a burden for missions. A New Testament church is truly a missions-minded church. Any sucessful missions program is one that is whole heartedly supported by both the church and the pastor. Without this bipartisan effort the missions program will be weak and ineffective.

We invite you to get to know our missionaries and the families and their work, become acquainted with their prayer requests, and lift them up often to the Lord. Then send an email of encouragement to let them know how much they mean to you.

Many times, missionaries feel alone and unconnected to the people back home. We need to make sure that each missionary family knows that we care for them. We must be of one mind in the Lord, our mandate is the same, to carry out the great commission as stated in Matthew 28:18-20:

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Jeff and Andrea Williams

Special Prayer is Needed! Brett has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.

He is in the States with his mother, recieving treatment!

Brett is the young man standing in front of Mr. Williams.

Jeff, Andrea, and their children serve God in Russia.

The second church the Williams started, Shore of Hope Bible Baptist

Church celebrated its 10th anniversary in July! It was the first independent

Baptist church to be registered legally with the Russian Government.

The major event was the celebration of those who've come to Christ

during these last 10 1/2 years. Some have fallen away, and many have

gone home to Heaven. But there still remains a faithful few who carry

on the work of the Father.

  •  The need for national pastors and church workers
  •  For God to circumvent the interference of unbelieving family members.

Joshua and Hannah

Joshua, Hannah, and little Emma are stepping out on faith to plan much-needed, sound-doctrined churches in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Ponderosa Baptist Church held their first service on June 28, 2008 in a hotel conference room. Now they're meeting in a school gym until they find a permanent building. There's already a small, faithful congregation. Amen! Keep praying for them.
